Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Patino Eye Care a proud provider of vision care products and services in Jackson Heights.

Dr. Lucia Patino

Dr. Lucia Patino graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. As a student, she was president of the student chapter of VOSH and traveled as a student to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Peru on various mission trips. After graduation, she moved to NY to complete a residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation at SUNY.

She opened up her solo private practice in Queens, New York in April 2008. Dr. Patino has presented nationally on keratoconus, amblyopia, and vision therapy.

She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, New York State Optometric Association, the International Keratoconus Academy, and is an InfantSEE provider.

Dr. Patino is currently on staff at SUNY College of Optometry as an Adjunct Professor and teaches fourth-year students. She is also very active in the community and provides vision screenings and educational workshops for the community.
